Survivors include a son, Courtland Mercer of Detroit; three daughters, Mesdames Myrtle Barger and Hazel Teegarden of Greenville and Mable Lovell of Graham; five grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gary Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Fox in charge, assisted by the Rev. James Doyle. Burial was in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery.
