     Mortimer Craig appeared on the census of 1840 in Hopkins Co., KY, which includes the following information: males: (2) less than 5 (Perrin and William), (2) 20-30 (Mortimer and ?); females (1) 20-30 (Ziller Ann). He appeared in the census of July 1850 (101/101, age 39, farmer, $600, b. Va.) District No. 2, Hopkins Co., KY. There is an Indenture in in Grayson Co., TX, on 15 August 1856 where S.B. and Elizabeth J. Savage sell about 200 acres to Mortimer for $1150.3 He left a will which 4 names wife Gellah Ann and appoints her administrator and to care for their minor children. He died on 1859 in Grayson Co., TX.

Parrin (Paran) Cardwell Moved to Hopkins Co., KY.2 He married Mary Ann Ashby, daughter of Stephen Ashby, on 6 December 1814 at Hopkins Co., KY. Rev. Parrin (Paran) Cardwell appeared in the census of 1820 (1M 26-45, 2 F under 10, 2 F 16-26) Hopkins Co., KY. He appeared in the census of 1830 (1M 30-40, 3F under 5, 2F 10-15, 1F 30 to 40) Hopkins Co., KY. He appeared in the census of 1840 (1M 40-50, 1F 5-10, 2F 10-15, 1F 15-20, 1F 40-50.) Hopkins Co., KY. He appeared in the census of 1850 (farmer, $538) Hopkins Co., KY. He appeared in the census of 1860 (65, farmer, $1800-$1000) Hopkins Co., KY. Will written and dated 18 May 1868, probated 5 Oct 1872 in Hopkins County. In it, he said that he had already given to his children when they married about an equal protio of his estate. He had already given to his daughter, Indiana Washington $140, and that he had already gien to his daughter, Ziller Ann Craig $500; these two daughters were to receive no more. The balance of his estate was to be equally divided betwen his daughters, Emily Branson and Nancy Ashby heirs, Mary Timmons and Parasada Wilkenson. His son-in-law, James W. Branson was to be the executor. No sons were named in the will, and according to the listings of the census records, no sons have been found. (Book 12, pg. 151). He appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of James Murphy Branson. Rev. Parrin (Paran) Cardwell died in 1872 Hopkins Co., KY. His estate was probated on 5 October 1872 at Hopkins Co., KY.
