Joseph Williams, that his name was placed on the Pension Roll of the stae of Kentucky, from whence he has lately removed, now a resident of Missouri and his reason for moving, he is now old and a widower and have for many years has lived with his son, Elisha Majors, and that his son became determined to move to Missouri and than affiant came with him and expects to spend the balance of his life, with them there.
One George Huffaker of Clay County, Missouri says he has known the soldier for twenty years. John Major died on 1843 Baltimore Co., MD.1
