      Louis Francis Gordon was also known as Lewis Frank.      Nancy Ann Craig left a will dated on 22 May 1894 and proved 7 Jan 1909: Remainder of estate, after payment of debts, including farm purchased from John F. Gulick and conveyed by Deed May 6, 1893, to be divided into 3 equal parts. To dau. Sarah Roberta Gulick and her heirs; one other part to dau. Ida R. Norman and her heirs, and remaining part to dau. Everetta H. Jenkins and her heirs forever. And should either of my aforesaid daughters die before I do, without leaving issue, the shares of said decendant shall go to her surviving sister or sister aforesaid and to their heirs. Desire my said daughters to do all they can for the comfort of their father as long as he lives.
I make no bequest or legacy to my son John F. Gullick, not for lack of affection for him as my only son, but because he has already been liberally provided for. And request of my said son to take good care of his Father as long as he may live.
Nominate and appoint Andrew Norman to be executor of this will.

GULICK
Mr. Francis Gulick died at his residence near Aldie, Loudoun county Va. October 18th 1897, in the 76th year of his age. His disease was indigestion of the stomach, from which he suffered intensely for several months. The day he died he walked around the yard and seemed to be much better, talking all the while. He came into the house, sat down in his accustomed chair, and expired immediately. He had told his companion how to arrange everything for his burial. He was an honest and upright man, and beloved by all his acquaintances. He leaves a lonely widow, one son and three daughters. His funeral was preached at Mt. Zion by Elder White to a large assembly.²

He left a will on 16 November 1893 at Loudoun Co., VA. See Appendix A for a transcription of this will. He died on Thursday, 24 October 1895 Loudoun Co., VA, at age 84. He was buried in North Fork Baptist Cemetery, Loudoun Co., VA, Grave marker listed age as 84y, 6m, 9d.

     Louisa Gulick was born on Thursday, 7 December 1815 Pontiac, MI. She married James Craig III, son of James Craig Jr. and Rebecca Titus, on 7 January 1838 at Loudoun Co., VA, Brother John Gulick test. ages of bride and groom.^2,3,4 Louisa Gulick appeared on the census of 2 August 1850 in the household of James Craig III. Louisa Gulick appeared on the census of 30 July 1860 in the household of James Craig III; farmer, 49, $6600/$1200. Louisa Gulick appeared on the census of 20 August 1870 in the household of James Craig III. Louisa Gulick died on 7 April 1892 and the grave marker shows age as 76y, 4m. She was buried in North Fork Baptist Cemetery, Loudoun Co., VA.

     George William Craig was born on Saturday, 20 November 1841 in VA.² He appeared on the census of 2 August 1850 in the household of James Craig III. George William Craig appeared on the census of 30 July 1860 in the household of James Craig III; farmer, 49, $6600/$1200. George William Craig served in the Confederate Army, White's Battalion where he was wounded.³ He appeared on the census of 20 August 1870 in the household of James Craig III. George William Craig married Emma A.V. Dodd on 21 February 1872 at Loudoun Co., VA.⁴ George William Craig appeared in the census of 4 June 1900 Scott District, Fauquier Co., VA. He died on Saturday, 19 January 1918 in VA at age 76.² He was buried in Sharon Cemetery, Loudoun Co., VA.²

     Emma A.V. Dodd was born on Sunday, 27 June 1847 in VA.¹ She married George William Craig, son of James Craig III and Louisa Gulick, on 21 February 1872 at Loudoun Co., VA.² There is an Indenture in Loudoun Co., VA, on 27 October 1898 where Emma Craig purchased at auction one hundred eighty acres of land near Middleburg for $17.50 per acre ($2969.26) sold by Special Commissioner W.E. Garrett. This was land owned by the late J. W. Dodd, her father, and called the Nichols Place. There is an Indenture in Loudoun Co., VA, on 27 October 1898 where Emma V. Craig and her husband, George W. Craig, mortgaged property known as the Nichols or Eidson farm in Loudoun County located between Mountsville and Middleburg to Edward Nichols and Wm. E. Garreth, Trustees, for $2500. Said land is adjoining and bounded by the lands of the late Billington McCarthy, the late R.M. Wilson, John Mitchell, the farm formerly occupied by J. A. Cox, and the lands of the late John W. Dodd. That debt was paid in full and the lien released 2 Jul 1918.

     Louisa Gulick was born on Sunday, 30 May 1852. She married 1st, John Franklin Craig, son of James Craig III and Louisa Gulick, in 1873.¹ Louisa Gulick died on Thursday, 24 March 1881 at age 28. She was buried in North Fork Baptist Cemetery, Loudoun Co., VA.²

     John Gulick married Margaret Britt on 6 April 1848.¹
