     Guy M. Coffman was born on Wednesday, 10 July 1912 KY. He married Clara L. Craig, daughter of Samuel Franklin Craig and Ida E. Whitmer, on 27 November 1937 at McLean Co., KY.² Guy M. Coffman died on November 1974 at age 62.

Craig was also known as Sue Verda and Verda E. She married Godfrey Salmon Ward on 27 February 1890 at McLean Co., KY.¹ Elizabeth L. Craig appeared on the census of 3 June 1900 in the household of Godfrey Salmon Ward. Elizabeth L. Craig died on Friday, 6 February 1953 at age 88. She was buried in Worthington Chapel Cemetery, Muhlenberg Co., KY, where the grave marker has age shown as 88 yrs, 2 mo., 12 days.

     Godfrey Salmon Ward was born on Tuesday, 23 September 1856 in IN. He married Elizabeth L. Craig, daughter of Christopher Columbus Craig and Lucinda J. Lott, on 27 February 1890 at McLean Co., KY.¹ Godfrey Salmon Ward appeared in the census of 3 June 1900 in South Carrollton, Muhlenberg Co., KY. He died on Monday, 17 November 1952 at age 96. He was buried in Worthington Chapel Cemetery, Muhlenberg Co., KY, where the marker gives age as 96 yrs, 1 mo., 25 days.

     Capt. James Craig witnessed the marriage of Harriet Morgan Boone and Hiram Baber in October 1819 at Loutre Lick, MO; at parents home. There is an Indenture in in Columbiana Co., OH, in 1820 where James Craig sold a tract of land, R 4 Twp 15 Sec 30, to John Battin. James and Delinda, who are living in Jo Daviess Co., IL, sell his brother, Issac, lots 16 and 31 in the town of Hanover, Columbiana Co., OH. See Appendix A, Jo Daviess County, IL, for more information of this transaction. Capt. James Craig died on 31 March 1847 in in Hanover, Jo Daviess Co., IL, at age 61 James Craig died as a result of falling into the shaft of a lead mining operation in which he was interested..^8,4 He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviess Co., IL, An obelisk at the grave is marked on four sides with the names of James, his wife, Delinda and their children, Lemuel and Elizabeth. The grave marker shows his age as 62y,4m,10d [birth 30 Nov 1784] and is probably incorrect because he is known to have been born in Nov 1785 from family Bible records. See Appendix B for a listing of all members of this family buried in Evergreen Cemetery.⁹

     Mary Rhodes Jr. was born in VA. She married 1st, Capt. James Craig, son of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 19 October 1808 Sandy Springs MM, Columbiana Co., OH.^1,2,3 Mary Rhodes Jr. died circa 1814 in Columbiana Co., OH.⁴

     Delinda Boone was born on Wednesday, 3 February 1802 St. Charles Co., MO. She married 2nd, Capt. James Craig, son of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 29 April 1819 St. Charles Co., MO. Delinda appeared in the census of 1850 in Jo Daviess Co., IL; Philena Craig, age 21 and b. in NY, and her child, Seth Craig, who are shown in the household in this census have not been identified, however, Philena is probably the widow of Daniel Boone Craig who had recently died. Philena was born in New York and in the 1960 census she appears to be in Sagadahoc Co., Maine. Delinda Boone appeared on the census of 1860 in Jo Daviess Co., IL, and is listed as a Midwife.

     Various sources list different names for the children of James and Delinda. Catherine Chandler listed the names of eleven children with the comment that there may have been others. Lilian Oliver² had a list of sixteen names. I have included three of those additional names (Nancy Lucas, Lura or Lauria, and Martha Ann) because information was included providing reasonable proof of the relationship. The names of Clinton 1828-1865 and Edward Milton (or Frances) 1834-1876 are still being researched. The name of John 1842-____ has also been included in other sources.
She died on 18 September 1877 in in Hanover, Jo Daviess Co., IL.³ She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover, Jo Daviess Co., IL, Grave marker gives age as 75 yrs. 7 mo. 15 da.⁴

     Jane Craig was born on Sunday, 24 December 1786 Loudoun Co., VA.¹ She married Samuel Milbourne, son of Andrew Milbourne Jr. and Sarah Ann Reeder, on 23 October 1811 in in Columbiana Co., OH, by "Rule of Society of Friends", Wm Galbreath, Clerk reporting, Rec. by R. Beall, Clerk, 29 Jan 1812.^2,3 Jane Craig died on Thursday, 15 August 1872 Hanoverton, Columbiana Co., OH, at age 85.^4,5,1 She was buried in Grove Hill Cemetery, Hanoverton, Columbiana Co., OH, Age 85y 7m 21d.

     Samuel Milbourne was born on Tuesday, 12 December 1786 Campbell Co., VA.¹ He married Jane Craig, daughter of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 23 October 1811 in in Columbiana Co., OH, by "Rule of Society of Friends", Wm Galbreath, Clerk reporting, Rec. by R. Beall, Clerk, 29 Jan 1812.^2,3 Samuel Milbourne died on Sunday, 22 March 1863 Hanoverton, Columbiana Co., OH, at age 76 Grave marker shows age as 71 years, 3 months, 10 days.¹ He was buried in Grove Hill Cemetery, Hanoverton, Columbiana Co., OH.⁴

     Mary E. Craig was born on Monday, 25 February 1788 Loudoun Co., VA.¹ She married Jesse Milner, son of Joseph Milner and Susannah Brown, on 24 December 1807 at in Columbiana Co., OH.² Mary E. Craig died on 14 September 1852 in in Cisne, Wayne Co., IL, 64 y., 6 m., 20 d. Family Bible gives death date as 11 Sep 1851.³ She was buried in Buckeye Cemetery, Cisne, Wayne Co., IL.⁴

     Jesse Milner was born on Thursday, 6 February 1783 Loudoun Co., VA. He married Mary E. Craig, daughter of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 24 December 1807 at in Columbiana Co., OH.² Jesse Milner died on 17 September 1845 in in Cisne, Wayne Co., IL, at age 62 y., 6 mo., 20 d.³ He was buried in Buckeye Cemetery, Cisne, Wayne Co., IL.⁴

     William Craig was born on Friday, 15 May 1789 Loudoun Co., VA.¹ He married Margaret Guthery on 17 December 1812 in in Columbiana Co., OH, by Clement L. Vallendingham, Rec. By R. Bealle, Clerk 11 Dec 1812.^2,3 William Craig appeared in the census of 1840 ((1) m 60 to 70, (1) f 10 to 15, (2) f 15 to 20) in Columbiana Co., OH.

     Margaret Guthery married William Craig, son of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 17 December 1812 in in Columbiana Co., OH, by Clement L. Vallendingham, Rec. By R. Bealle, Clerk 11 Dec 1812.^1,2

     Margaret Craig was born on Friday, 15 October 1790 Loudoun Co., VA. She died on March 1795 Loudoun Co., VA, at age 4.¹

     Elizabeth Craig was born on Friday, 24 August 1792 Loudoun Co., VA.² She married 1st, Bennett Armstrong, son of James Armstrong and Ruth Bennett, on 14 April 1814 in Middletown MM, Columbiana Co., OH, by "Rules of Society of Friends", Middleton MM, Nathan Heald, Clerk.^3,4,5 Elizabeth Craig married 2nd, Jonathan Marsh on 15 December 1834 in Columbiana Co., OH.^4,5
In 1850, Elizabeth Craig was shown as Betsey Craig. She appeared on the census of 1850 in the household of Jonathan Marsh. Elizabeth Craig died on Saturday, 19 June 1852 Middletown MM, Columbiana Co., OH, at age 59.^2,6

     Bennett Armstrong was born on Saturday, 14 November 1795 in VA. He married 1st, Elizabeth Craig, daughter of William Craig and Deborah Holmes, on 14 April 1814 in Middletown MM, Columbiana Co., OH, by "Rules of Society of Friends", Middleton MM, Nathan Heald, Clerk.^2,3,4 Bennett Armstrong appeared on the census of 1820 in Unity Township, Columbiana Co., OH, which includes the following information: males: (4) under 10, (1) 26 to 45; females: (1) 10 to 16 and (1) 26 to 45. There are four known children that would have been under ten, however, one of them is a girl. He died on November 1829 in OH.

     Absalom Craig was born on Tuesday, 14 January 1794 Loudoun Co., VA.¹ He married Sarah Keith on 17 April 1817 in Hanover Township, Columbiana Co., OH, by Clement L. Vallindingham, Rec. by Horace Potter, Clerk 28 May 1817.^2,3,4 Absalom Craig was buried in Plains Cemetery, Stark Co., OH.⁵ He died in Stark Co., OH.
