     Noble Craig's Daughter Dies
     LaGrange - Mrs. Lovelia G. Alexander, 43, LaGrange, died Friday, March 2 in LaGrange. She was a native of Auburn.
     Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday in LaGrange with burial in LaGrange's Valley of Rest Cemetery.
     Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Alexander; two daughters, Miss Ann G. Alexander and Miss Mary Lee Alexander of LaGrange; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noble Craig of Auburn, two sisters, Miss Clara Craig of Louisville and Mrs. Mary Miller of Bradshaw, W. Va. and one brother, Noble R. Craig of Lancaster.
     Her father is a native of Graham.
She was buried in Valley of Rest Cemetery, LaGrange, KY.

Posey and Elvira Ann Taggart, on 27 April 1886 at in Muhlenberg Co., KY. ; marriage was at the residence of the bride by M.H. Whiten in the presence of James Gray, Thomas Mohon, and James Dockins. Craig's father born Hopkins Co. and mother born Butler Co. Posey's parents both born Muhlenberg Co.2 There is an Indenture in in Muhlenberg Co., KY, on 3 February 1891 where Mahala Gray, widow of John G. Gray, sold Augustus Craig 220 acres on the waters of Pond Creek for $300 cash (Book 39, pg. 435).      Augustus G. Craig appeared on the census of 1900 in Court House District, Muhlenberg Co., KY, which includes the following information: 218/223, 40, farmer. There is an Indenture in in Muhlenberg Co., KY, on 27 November 1909 where A.G. and Almeda Craig assigned coal and mineral rights on 220 acres of land to J. W. Jackson for the sum of $1.00 cash and further consideration noted in the agreement (Book 81 Page 411). He appeared in the census of 1910 Court House District, Muhlenberg Co., KY. He left a will on 14 March 1912 at in Muhlenberg Co., KY, which named wife, Almedia, to receive all property during her life time. The property is to pass on to "my children or their hiers".
His will was probated 25 March 1912. Certificate of death ( File #8225) is dated 22 March 1912.
He died on Friday, 22 March 1912 in Muhlenberg Co., KY, at age 52.3 He was buried in Hazel Creek Church Cemetery, Muhlenberg Co., KY.4

     PADUCAH - Odgen Craig, 84, of Paducah, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at Lourden Hospital in Paducah.
     Born Nov. 21, 1918 in Muhlenberg County, he was retired as a conductor from ICRR and was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City. He was a veteran of World War II.
     He is survived by his wife, June Tandy Craig, one son, Robert Craig of Kissimmee, Fla; one daughter, Mary Alice Mader of Franklin, Tenn; two grandchildren, Scan Wilson of Franklin Tenn. and Linda Knost of St. Could, Fla.
     Funeral Services were held Sunday, Dec. 22, at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with the Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville, Muhlenberg Co., KY.

     Annie Laurie Craig, 1145 Chipeta Ave., died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital. She was 95.
     Mrs. Craig was a homemaker.
     She was born Nov. 9, 1892, to Netter and Louella Adkins in Depoy, KY, where she spent her childhood and attended schools.
     She married Elmer Coleman Craig Feb. 23, 1913, in Depoy. They moved to Pueblo later that year. In 1919, they moved to Grand Junction. Mr. Craig, a freight and passenger agent with the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad, died Dec. 17, 1938, in Salida (where the Rio Grande hospital was located).
     Mrs. Craig was a member of the First Baptist Church, and a 50-year member of the Grand Junction Chapter No. 103 Order of the Eastern Star.
     She enjoyed sewing and her family.
     Survivors include two sons, William of Ogden Utah, and Donald of Grand Junction; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A son James A. died in 1959.
     Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Callahan-Edfast Morturay chapel with the Rev. B.L. Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery on Orchard Mesa.
