He married Elizabeth Smith, daughter of James Andrew Smith and Alice Margaret Truax, on 5 August 1806 at Adair Co., KY.^2,3 Absalom Redman is listed in the tax records between 1807 and 1815 at Adair Co., KY.³ In the 1810 tax record he is listed as: one male over 21 (this is the only category recorded) with 2 horses. He does not own any property. He died on 1815 Adair Co., KY. And a court record for an inventory of his estate was recorded on 29 November 1815.³

     Elizabeth Smith was born on 1788 Adair Co., KY.² She married Absalom Redman, son of Aaron Redman and Agnes Craig, on 5 August 1806 at Adair Co., KY.^3,4 Elizabeth Smith married 2nd, Charles Epperson on 27 April 1827.^1,4 About 1839, Elizabeth Smith moved to Gibson Co., IN.¹ She died on Monday, 5 April 1869 in Gibson Co., IN.⁴ She was buried in Mt. Mariah Cemetery, Gibson Co., IN.

     Wesley Redman was born on Wednesday, 9 May 1810 Adair Co., KY.¹ He married 1st, Susan Harris circa 1833.¹ Wesley Redman married 2nd, Elizabeth Morris circa 1845 Warren Co., KY.² Wesley Redman appeared in the census of 3 August 1860 Johnson Twp., Gibson Co., IN. He died on Tuesday, 2 March 1886 in Gibson Co., IN, at age 75.¹ He was buried in Mt. Mariah Cemetery, Gibson Co., IN.

     Susan Harris married 1st, Wesley Redman, son of Absalom Redman and Elizabeth Smith, circa 1833.¹

     Margaret Ann Redman was born on Friday, 8 November 1811 KY.² She married Jesse Emmerson II, son of Reuben Emerson and Elizabeth Logan, on 19 February 1834.¹ Margaret Ann Redman appeared on the census of 5 June 1880 in the household of Reuben Emmerson; his mother and sister are the only other members of the household at this time.      Naomi Jane Redman was born on Saturday, 8 June 1816. She married Alfred Epperson, son of Charles Epperson and Sarah Harris, circa 1834. Naomi Jane Redman appeared on the census of 8 November 1850 in the household of Alfred Epperson. Naomi Jane Redman died on Tuesday, 21 January 1896 at age 79.
