Mrs. J. L. Taggart Dies in Detroit Depoy-Mrs. Vannie Craig Taggart, widow of the late J. L. Taggart, died in Detroit Sunday, May 31 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Wallace. Life-long residents of Muhlenberg County, the Taggart's operated a store in Depoy for more than 50 years. Mr. Taggart preceded her in death two months. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Wallace of Detroit and Mrs. C. W. Staples of Phoenix, Ariz; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Church in Depoy conducted by the Rev. E. E. Spickard, with burial in the church cemetery. She was buried in Oak Grove Church Cemetery, Depoy, Muhlenberg Co., KY.
