She married John Combs, son of Andrew Combs and Mary (?), on 18 January 1797 at in Loudoun Co., VA; Loudoun County - Know all men by these present that we John Combs and Mahlen Combs are held and firmely bound unto his excellency James Wood Exq Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the full and just sum of one hundred and fifty dollars to which payment will and truly to be paid to one said Governor and his successors in trust for __ said Commonwelth we bind ourselves and each of our heirs Exec and Administrators jointly and severally ____ by these present sealed with our seals and dated this 18th day of Jan 1797.

The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had adn solomnized between the above named John Combs and nancy Vinander Weidow. Now if there shall be no lawful couse to obstruct the said intended Marriage then this obligation to be void. Else to remain in full force and virtue. Sealed and delivered in the presence of Chas Binns. Signed John Combs (his X) and Mahlon Combs.
